General Production Worker We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Production Worker to join our team. Experience in manufacturing or production environments and be comfortable with tasks that require standing for long periods of time. This position offers the opportunity to grow within the company and eventually join a respected union with excellent benefits. Responsibilities Perform various production and assembly tasks. Operate equipment and machinery as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of steel-toed boots/shoes. Assist in warehouse distribution and general labor tasks. Essential Skills 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Experience with production assembly, construction, and warehouse distribution. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Knowledge of repair and power tool operation is a plus. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35880.00 - $35984.00/yr. This is a United States Steelworkers union position. There is a 90 day contract to hire before going into the union, and ABC includes our CTH period as the unions probationary period, which is great. Our candidate can get into USW union benefits which are solid, 6% 401k match after a year, and once direct will also receive prorated vacation days, sick days, and personal days.
