Description

Collects, records, and maintains various patient data. Performs patient assessment, documents in medical record and helps prepare patient for examination or procedure. Collects, packages and delivers specimens to Lab. Sets up, stocks and maintains patient area and equipment as directed. Functions within the level of his/her scope of practice and clinic policies/procedures. Works cooperatively with staff and providers to achieve the highest quality of care for patients. Performs other related responsibilities when necessary, and as assigned by the Manager of the RHC. Identifies health and safety concerns and unsafe work practices within the workplace. Is involved in developing safe work practices and is held accountable for the day to day efforts of ensuring a safe workplace by following safe work practices.

Requirements

BLS required upon hire and maintained throughout employment. High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of accredited CNA or PCT program preferred. One year of medical office experience preferred. Basic computer skills required. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
