Role Description

This is a full-time role that serves as a Director or Managing Director of Investment Banking at Solganick & Co. As a Director or Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible for deal origination and execution, including developing and executing deal strategies, managing and leading teams, expanding client relationships, and providing guidance on clients' strategic and financial M&A issues. They will work directly with clients, advising on and executing transactions from origination to post-closing integration. Additionally, the Director or Managing Director will represent Solganick & Co in the market and actively contribute to our growth and success.

Location : Can be fully remote or hybrid, depending on city. U.S.-based only at this time, however. We do have offices in Dallas and Los Angeles but are open to other locations for our hiring needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A masters degree, including an MBA or equivalent, is preferred.
• 8-10+ years of experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance with an industry focus on one or more technology sectors or subsectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing, leading, and mentoring teams to translate client insights, strategies, data, and analytics into successful business models and transactions
• Excellent knowledge of corporate finance, M&A transactions, financial modeling, valuation techniques and methodologies, due diligence, and legal documentation
• Demonstrated success in identifying, executing, and closing M&A transactions from origination to post-closing integration, including experience serving as lead advisor or negotiating complex transactions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships and engaging with senior-level executives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under tight deadlines
