Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Directional Drill Foreman at JMF Underground Inc., located in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Directional Drill Foreman will oversee daily operations of directional drilling projects, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinate with crews to complete projects efficiently. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining drilling equipment, preparing and following project plans, conducting safety meetings, and problem-solving on-site issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience with directional drilling operations and equipment maintenance
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the industry
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus
  • Experience in utility installations (telecommunications, municipal, oil/gas) beneficial
