CAE is hiring INSTRUCTOR PILOTS in the following aircraft: Phenom, Learjet, Bombardier (Challenger and Global platforms), Gulfstream, Hawker, Beechjet, King Air, Citation, Falcon, Embraer. The role involves delivery of flight training in a flight simulator and ground school in accordance with regulatory agency, CAE approved curriculum, and customer requirements. The instructor acts as a subject matter expert (SME) ready to lead clients through their training. After 1.5+ years, designated Instructors are expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman. Responsibilities include providing simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications; conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings; completing training records; recommending remedial training; tracking instructional qualifications and activity; and acting as SME in creation of curricula and courseware. Physical requirements include dexterity for hand/eye coordination, ability to sit in confined space for 4-6 hours with limited breaks, stand for up to 10 hours with limited breaks, and ability to sit, stoop, climb, twist and turn. Minimum qualifications include holding or qualifying for an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating, passion for teaching, basic computer proficiency, participation in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program, experience flying business aircraft is a plus, and authorization to live/work in the United States.
