Contract Litigation Attorney (Personal Injury / Tenant Rights)
Location: Remote or Based Anywhere in California
Bar Admission: Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
Direct Counsel is looking for a Contract Litigation Attorney to join a mission-driven law firm focused on personal injury and tenant rights. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in California while contributing to impactful advocacy on behalf of underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload involving personal injury and tenant rights litigation
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, mediations, or arbitrations
Collaborate with supervising attorneys and staff to advance cases efficiently
Qualifications:
Active California Bar license in good standing
Experience with litigation; personal injury and/or tenant rights preferred
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment
Position Type: Contract (with potential for extension or continued engagement)
