Job Description

Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer 5 to join their team. As a Construction Project Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have creativity, strong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Project Engineer 5

Location: Sandston, VA (Hybrid, majority onsite)

Pay Range: $71.52 - $75

What's the Job?

• Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
• Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
• Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience in the engineering field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Experience with computer applications and software related to engineering, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
