Computer Network Support Specialist, JM (Finance) The Computer Network Support Specialist, Journeyman supports the Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) Department, Code 720000D/E contract. The IT/IM Department's mission is to provide IT and Cybersecurity support services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). It is a NAVAIR-wide competency responsible for supporting development, planning, execution, monitoring, and lifecycle support of IT/IM programs and activities within the Weapons Division. The department provides non-NMCI products and services, including corporate IT solutions, tools, and site/customer-specific support. Its mission is to ensure that NAWCWD IT infrastructure, tools, and applications comply with DoD regulations, are operational, and adapt to new technologies and threats. Responsibilities Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems such as LAN, WAN, and Internet segments. Perform network maintenance to ensure proper operation with minimal interruption. Clearance required: Secret, with eligibility for Top Secret.
