CNC Operators and Machinists Job Duties
As a CNC Operator or Machinist, you'll play a key role in precision manufacturing, contributing directly to mission-critical aerospace components. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating CNC machines and secondary equipment with accuracy
Performing in-process quality inspections and using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Supporting Lean and 5S practices across the production floor
Assisting in meeting KPI goals: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost
What You Need to Bring
1–2 years of experience in CNC Lathe or Mill operations
Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with tight tolerances and precision measurements
Familiarity with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machines is a plus
Strong understanding of shop safety and quality assurance standards
