This dual-role pharmacist position supports both central pharmacy operations and ambulatory care services. Its ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience with diverse patient care activities and the chance to build well-rounded clinical expertise. Key Responsibilities:
Review and enter medication orders with accuracy and clinical judgment
Dispense medications in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
Provide drug information and clinical recommendations as needed
Conduct ongoing drug therapy monitoring and document findings
Oversee operations in sterile compounding, including high-risk preparations, narcotic infusions, and chemotherapy
Perform pharmacist-managed consults and clinical interventions per protocol
If assigned to ambulatory care: recommend or manage therapy via collaborative practice agreements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Bachelors in Pharmacy or PharmD
PGY1 residency or minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain
