The Clinical Education Specialist is a vital member of the Americas Training & Education team, reporting to the Director of Clinical Training & Education Americas. This role is responsible for the strategic delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs in endoscopy. The Clinical Education Specialist will ensure deep application expertise across endoscopic devices throughout internal and external professional education initiatives.

Responsibilities of Clinical Education Specialist:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of HCP training programs at IRCAD, key training institutions, and virtual seminars including support of planning, on-site execution and follow-up of hands-on and workshops.
  • Manage setup and takedown of equipment to ensure proper storage and support of staff.
  • Own training of IRCAD staff on scope reprocessing and handling.
  • Support planning, on-site execution and follow-up of hands-on trainings and workshops in US training centers with a special focus on IRCAD in Charlotte, NC.
  • Support the consistent execution of professional education programs in US for peer-to-peer education (ex: PENTAX Medical Forward Academy™ ).
  • Implement comprehensive training curricula for HCPs in endoscopy, tailored to various experience levels and specialties.
  • Support the consistent execution of professional education programs in US for peer-to-peer education (e.g. PENTAX Medical Forward Academy™ ).
  • Deliver training sessions to HCPs across the United States.
  • Support live demonstrations and workshops at congresses and training events.
  • Identify gaps and proactively provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide clinical application support to enhance user proficiency and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales and Clinical Application Specialists to align training with product strategy.
  • Ensure US teams are up to date with product knowledge to maximize success.
  • Support sales teams during congresses and exhibitions by performing product demonstrations and HCP trainings.
  • Collect and communicate feedback from training sessions to inform product development, marketing initiatives, and sales strategies.
  • Use cross-functional feedback to develop blended learning journeys (e-learning, in-person, virtual) for onboarding and continuous education.
  • Continuously assess training effectiveness and collaborate on areas for improvement.
  • Stay current with trends in medical education, endoscopy, and adult learning methodologies.

Requirements of the Clinical Education Specialist:

  • Minimum two years experience working in Professional HCP education.
  • Strong communication skills, high motivation and solution-oriented approach.
  • Training and work experience as a (endoscopic) nurse.
  • Experience with LMS systems including LearnUpon and EZ Generator.
  • Experience training for a Medical Device company, especially experience in Endoscopy.
