Position Overview: Cognizant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile practices across our development teams. You will be the key driver of our Scrum framework, ensuring high-quality deliverables, resolving impediments, and coaching teams on Agile methodologies. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Agile principles. Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain a robust Agile framework, including processes and artifacts. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and support teams in delivering business value. Maintain and communicate team metrics and artifacts for transparency and stakeholder alignment. Collaborate with Product Owners and Tech Leads to manage and enrich the product backlog. Promote Agile behaviors and reinforce best practices across teams. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Adapt Agile structures to client frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and ensure compatibility. Build strong cross-functional relationships and promote a positive work environment. Guide teams and leadership toward higher levels of Scrum maturity. Create a productive environment where teams take ownership and enjoy their work. Support organizational scaling through Agile principles. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master on Agile development teams. Proven servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills. Deep understanding of Agile techniques and artifacts (e.g., Definition of Done, user stories, backlog refinement). Proficiency in Jira and Confluence. Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent); SAFe certification is a plus. Familiarity with BDD, TDD, CI/CD, pairing, and automated testing is advantageous.
