As one of our CDL-A Truck Drivers, you'll haul scrap metal locally using roll-offs, luggers, and doubles while representing a company that values safety, integrity, and hard work. We're looking for reliable, detail-driven drivers who value consistency, efficiency, and doing things the right way every time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a steady, methodical environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You'll operate out of our Grand Rapids facility, serving nearby customer accounts with routes that get you home daily , Monday through Friday, with early starts and early finishes (5am to ~3:30pm). Occasional weekend work may be available.

What You'll Do

• Operate Double Roll Off Trailers to service customer scrap sites and bring material back to Beacon yards for processing.
• Occasionally run routes with luggers or hook trucks.
• Deliver excellent service by maintaining clean trucks, clear communication, and safe driving practices.
• Support a positive customer experience by reporting feedback or site issues to your manager.
• Focus on consistency, safety, and timely hauls every single time.

Requirements:

What You Bring

• Valid Class A CDL with a Doubles Endorsement (required)
• 1+year of commercial driving experience
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
• Current DOT medical card (or ability to get one)
• Solid understanding of USDOT safety regulations
• Experience with scrap metal or roll-off trailers is a plus, but we'll train the right person.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on, indoor-outdoor role. You'll work in all weather conditions, staying active and engaged every day.
