Auto Mechanic – WHC Worldwide / zTrip

Your Responsibilities as an Auto Mechanic:

As an Auto Mechanic, you will:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, tire services, brake checks, and fluid inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across a variety of fleet vehicles
• Replace worn or damaged parts including belts, hoses, filters, and suspension components
• Conduct detailed safety inspections to ensure vehicle reliability and compliance
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of all service and repair work
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Collaborate with team members to reduce downtime and maintain fleet efficiency

What We’re Looking for in an Auto Mechanic:

• Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (fleet experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of diagnostics, repair procedures, and maintenance best practices
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and modern automotive tools
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid Maryland driver’s license required
• Dependable, motivated, and positive work ethic
