A local produce distribution company that supplies restaurants and grocery stores with fresh fruits and vegetables is looking to add a motivated professional to their team. This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offers a supportive work environment, weekly pay, and strong potential for long-term growth.
In this role, you’ll ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments—helping the Finance Department operate efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented individuals seeking a stable position with a company that values career advancement.
Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk Duties:
Input vendor invoice images and data into the electronic payment system
Identify and resolve pricing and receiving discrepancies with other departments
Respond promptly to vendor correspondence via phone, email, or mail
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external partners
Complete additional accounting projects as needed to support Finance
Schedule:
Day Shift – Monday through Friday
Flexible start and end times 6:00am - 6:00pm
Pay:
$25.00 – $27.00 per hour
Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk Requirements:
At least 2 years of accounting experience or related formal education
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Strong computer proficiency (Excel and 10-key)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
